Dear entrepreneurs,

I am not a fan of letting my clients tell me exactly how they would like their  R.J.COLE designs to be. If  I allowed my clients to provide me with every little detail for their design, can I really call it an R.J.COLE design? What do you think?

You are my best friend, however…

Dear Entrepreneurs,

How do you carry on a strong relationship with friends who are also developing a business? Well, it unquestionably takes know-how, maturity and prioritizing. What comes first? Your friendships or your business? I believe it generally depends on the entrepreneurs and which one they value more. I’ve experienced a good friend placing her business ahead of our friendship and at the time that particular issue had helped me realize that I couldn’t damage our friendship for only an inch more of success. It also brings up the question, am I a fool for not doing and feeling the same? Is it true what they say? “It’s lonely at the top!”? Will your buddy climb over you to get there? It’s a 50/50 shot; life, greed and passion is pulling the trigger and your relationships are the easy target.

What do you do when your relationships or business are on the line? Which do you choose? Can a person really have it all?
