“A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business”
-Henry Ford
Do you agree or disagree?

  1. Business only purpose is to make money. The dollar is the bottom line.

    • I agree with the 2nd sentence, but not the 1st sentence. Your business should have a strong image and purpose for your current and potential clientele. There must be a more relevant purpose other than $$$.

  2. I believe if you are rich you need to share the wealth and do something for the greater good. Just think if every millionaire acted as Bill Gates does and gave money to good causes what a better world this would be..and they would still have enough money to live 5 lifetimes!

    • Michele,

I agree. I’ve asked myself “when I become successful how would I share my success with others?”. The bottom line is that you have to help others when you are on top. All the good you do for others will come back in good karma and all that you refuse to do to help others will come back in bad karma. As you may know ” karma is a b*%ch”.

  3. I agree! A business that makes money has an obligation to develop its employees towards upward mobility, to contribute to the well being of its community, and to research and develop improved and/or new products to remain competitive.

  4. I agree with mister stone. a good business cares about the dollar……. if you want your business to be successful, you must put the dolla first and everything comes after. moraly its wrong. but business is business!

  5. Any business with out loyal customers and community love and respect is a poor business with out those people there would be NO money at all!

  6. I agree. A business that is just rich in money, does not equate longevity.

    • I agree. Almost nothing is guaranteed in business. That is why it is wise to stay enlightened, give back and constantly reinforce your common sense.
